Well anything by Nicholas Sparks is great!!! Such as The Choice, Dear John, The Rescue, Nights of Rodanthe, The Notebook etc.  There tons of them.

Wicked by Gregory Maguire, The Gift by Richard Paul Evans, Tell No One by Harlen Coben, Bloodsucking Friends by Christopher Moore, Saavy by Ingrid Law, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski,  A Cedar Cove Christmas by Debbie Macomber, and of course the Twilight series. and theres so many more but I just gave you a few I have read this year and enjoyed

Okay. So this is going to sound stupid, but I've read a shitton of books, including Jane Austen and JRR Tolkein, most classics, etc.

And still, the book I'll go back to, is Ella Enchanted. NOT like the movie at all. It's perfect. I first read it six years ago and I still read it over. Try it.

i know different books that i've thought were good, but i don't know what kind of stuff you like. i like Dean Koontz, and Stephen King, and Jonathon Kellerman. And have u read White Oleander or seen the movie? that's a good book. um.. i could tell u more, but i don't know what u like lol.

hey girl thanks for the comment. that's what i'm thinking, that i probably shouldn't date him until he accepts what's happened and starts to feel a little better about it. because he even said it would be great if he found someone, so i think he just wants a female companion, anyone. but i don't think he's ready for a relationship, because if something goes wrong, who knows what would happen. and i know i would feel responsible for him, because i'm just like that. i would feel like i would have to take care of him and it would be like i need to tiptoe around his feelings because he just seems so fragile right now, because of what happened. i know he will always hurt because of it, but he is convinced that the rest of his life will be hell on earth. and i don't want him to think that. because it won't be like that, the pain won't be this bad forever and that's what i tried to tell him. but he's so pessimistic. and i don't think it would be good for me to be around that.

that's so sad when people, especially siblings, end up being in that kind of situation, so disconnected from each other. have you tried talking to her?

One more thing, aholenewworld, you are right that you have things that you cannot change.  You CAN'T, but GOD CAN!!!  And He wants to!  And He WILL, if you'll let Him.  And the great thing is, you'll be glad He did.  And you'll experience a sense of freedom that is absolutely indescribable!!  Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10)  He not only wants to give you a brand new life, He wants to give you a more satisfied, joy-filled life!  Then you will truely be able to say (just like the song)that you are in a whole new world!

to the person below this i do get what you are say and i do think that this is the end and i do know what is wrong and what is right and im not scared that the world will end im scared that i will not beable to go to haven with the way i lived my life and it is going to be hard to change the way i am and im scared cause i want to be takeing before this stuff all hits im scared i will not be the person who will be saved i know god dose not think you will be perfect but there is a limted to it and with my life there is alot i don't know i can change..

Hey!  Just wanted to let you know that I do agree with you on a lot of things.  First, YES this IS the beginning of the end and YES it IS absolutely time to make things right with God!  But, NO, God didn't say the world would end in 2012.  He said that no man knows the day or hour (my personal feeling is around 2012, though.  But not because God said so.)  But, look here, you DON'T have to be scared.  Because God has promised to take care of His people through this.  I can tell by the things you say that you have enough of the Truth deep down inside of you to know the difference between right and wrong.  So you know that God is merciful.  And you know that no matter what you've done or how long you've been away from Him, He is more than willing to take you back. Right now it is very important for Christians to unite.  And like you said, it is time to get in that Word and begin to read and memorize. Because we might not have our bibles much longer.  Pretty soon it will be replaced with the Qur'an.  It will be illegal to own a bible.  So get that Word down inside of your heart!  The 10 commandments have already been "re-written".  The New World Order 10 commandments have been standing in GA, USA since 1979.  The first commandment is to reduce the worlds population to under half a billion.  Well, the worlds population is already over 6 billion.  I say this not to scare you, but so that you will have some idea what we are up against.  It's time to get it together and get it right!  Now here is some good news for ya.  There is going to be a revival!  God is raising up a remnant of people who are going to be so filled with the Spirit that they are going to be able to withstand the attacks of the enemy that is getting ready to be poured out on this land.  The reason that the enemy is going to be allowed to attack USA is because of God's judgement.  THIS is what the people have asked for.  THIS is what they are going to get.  A godless country.  A satanic kingdom.  We (the remnant) are going to rise up with healing in our wings!  There is going to be a mighty, mighty revival!  God is going to take care of His people!   Praise God, I am in that remnant!  How 'bout you?  Can you FEEL what I'm saying to ya?  Do you feel that call of God to come home?  We're a fixin' to see miracles, my friend!  The country might be going down, but God's children are going UP!

ok i respect your opinions and all, but just one thing. you said that God says the world will end in 2012. a lot of old scripture and "prophecies" say that it will end in 2012, but actually i'm pretty sure that in the bible it says that no one will know when the world is going to end. or maybe i'm mistaken? :/

Awwww, I'm so sorry things aren't going your way.  I know how you feel.  I had a big alteration in my whole life when I was diagnosed with cancer last week.  I hope things work out for you in the end.

Yeah, it's sad for me, because the last thing I remember of that little girl was her and I sitting on my hospital bed watch disney channel together, and she says to me, "I don't have many friends, just a couple, and you."

And that's all I've been thinking about.

That, and the fact that the whole ending of my entry before this one is all about Trinity being cured and getting to go home and then it was turned completely upside-down.

It's tough stuff.
